Clear expectations before production

An inquiry starts a conversation—not an order.

These working guidelines distinguish a first character review, a paid sample and a later production discussion. Final commercial terms are confirmed for each real project.

The short version

Clear commitments follow clear information.

Character structure, size, materials, quantity, packaging and timing affect one another. These notes explain where the first review ends and a project-specific proposal begins.

01

Inquiry review

Submitting the form requests a private project review. It does not create a purchase, guarantee acceptance, reserve production time or confirm a delivery date.

02

Project-specific feasibility

Some features may need simplification, a larger size, a separate accessory or a different construction approach. The first response may focus on questions rather than price.

03

Paid sample scope

If the project is suitable, the sample proposal sets out the intended size, main materials, included features, fee, sampling window, revision boundary and shipping arrangement.

04

Revisions

Changes are handled against the agreed sample scope. A new outfit, major proportion change or added feature may be scoped and quoted as new work rather than treated as an unlimited revision.

05

Production discussion

Batch pricing and timing are assessed once the product direction, quantity and packaging are clearer. A sample fee does not include production, freight, duties or local taxes unless clearly stated.

06

Character rights and public display

The submitter should have the right to share the material for review. An inquiry does not authorize public portfolio use, advertising or sale. Case-study permission is handled separately.

Before ordering

Inquiry first, agreement separately

This website accepts project inquiries, not online orders or payments. These guidelines are not a project contract. Price, scope, payment, cancellation, shipping and applicable terms must be confirmed in writing before you pay for a sample or production. Contact: hello@kinhatch.com.
